(IN POST-PRODUCTION)
It’s a humdrum Wednesday night when a charismatic Mitch Bates takes to the stage of the local stand-up comedy club. With a snobby and unresponsive audience and a microphone that smells like beer, Mitch recounts the tale of a personal & embarrassing tragedy amidst the mundane coastal town of Forster on a family vacation. With nowhere to go, and nothing to do, what else can a teenage boy get up to if not a conference with Roger? On the one hand, a promising yet comedic ‘coming’ of age story - on the other, an honest portrayal of lust, romance and the perception of women in a technological world.
